An Engineering Tool for International Collaboration

Ever wonder how efficient our work would be if circuitry design is able to translate into various international industrial standard automatically. Don’t you wish that problem like language barrier and various international industrial standards can be solved without going through some tedious and time consuming process?
Fret not now! EPLAN with its’ inbuilt intelligence are able to translate circuitry design into various standards like DIN, IEC, JIS and etc.  By translating the symbols & logics of the circuits, standardisation, which most engineer are trying to achieve, can now be easily achieved at the snap of your finger with EPLAN. Language barrier, a roadblock to most engineers, can also be easily translated thus make your workflow smoother and thus improved quality of work and improve making project collaboration between you and your customers/vendors easy.

Now together with the www out we are able to provide a most complete tool for international collaboration of your engineering work by automatically outputting of EPLAN project to a browser-readable format that can be output in HTML or DWF format.

Letters from EPLAN helpdesk: Tips & Techniques  (EPLAN 5)

TITLE: Making a quick selection of projects
When users want to select a project, most of them would choose the project using the Project Selection. (Project>>Select, create, copy projects) Few people will notice that they can also make a quick project selection under the Project menu. Even lesser people will realise that there is a parameter to set to increase the list of projects choice under the Project menu.
To make the a longer list of the project last opened, go to UTILITIES>>PARAMETERS>>PERSONAL>>WORKING PARAMETERS.
The value of the “List of project last opened” can be increased up to maximum of 10. EPLAN will now remember a long list of projects that you have opened. To further enhance your project selection, you can make use of the shortcut keys to improve your efficiency. For example, press [ALT+P] then [1] to quickly switch back to the last project that you have opened.
